Unity & WPF Tools programmer intern - Thunderful Games
Since August 2021 I've been working at Thunderful Games as an intern. The internship is a seven month course, and part of my education at The Game Assembly. As a tools programmer, I've been a part of the central support team, supporting several game projects through creating and maintaining editor windows, utility systems, classes, function etc. as well as maintaining the shared codebase.

My name is Charlie Berner and for the past two years, I've been studying as a Game Programmer at The Game Assembly in Malmö, Sweden.

My first year lead me to discovering what part of the game development process I feel most passionate about, namely tools programming. Building tools is a way for me to more closely communicate with other disciplinces and engage myself in many parts of the game.

During my second year at The Game Assembly, I've been focusing on tools and graphics programming, since that's what I really enjoy working on. I'm always eager to help others when they want a new feature to be added.
